Internet poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been created, including a few games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up before the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers receive 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or surrender. The call wager’s value is akin to your beginning ante, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes directly to the casino. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is given back, plus a sum in accordance with the initial bet. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays out cash even with your wager and controlled expectations on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
