Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the house instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier announcing "No further wagers." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the other gamblers attain 5 cards each. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes immediately to the dealer. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with a figure in accordance with the ante. If the dealer does have ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays out chips equal to your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• two to one for 2 pairs
• 3-1 for 3 of a kind
• four to one for a straight
• 5-1 for a flush
• 7-1 for a full house
• twenty to one for a four of a kind
• 50-1 for a straight flush
• 100-1 for a royal flush
